A Cold Day in Hell
The Citadel homeworld isn't the most tropical climate and while Komand'r was the one bitching about the temperature Koriand'r was the one really underdressed for it. Still she had plenty of other worries besides staying warm so she may not even have noticed. Actually before too long staying warm was the last thing she wanted but I'm getting ahead of the story. Anyway the sisters arrived in the middle of a blizzard.
Visions of empire dancing in her head Komand'r was already dreaming of replacing the Citadel's Overlord.
Speaking of whom if he sounds like an idiot that's because he was an idiot. In the spinoff Omega Men comic it turned out a computer housing the intellect of the first Citadel Ruler really ran the show and the morons with the third person vocabulary were retarded clones of him as he had never got all the bugs out of the process.
Lord Damyn had his pet Psion get to work making Koriand'r pay for defying him which lead to this scene that probably rattled the bars of the Comics Code.
Anyway the Titans reached Vega and launched a rescue mission and after they freed Koriand'r she fought the first of her final duels with her sister. Naturally at the conclusion of it Komand'r seemed to both die and disappear. Just as naturally she showed up again to settle the score with her sister. But that's another story.
